The PorterTron is our take on the “tron” pickups. Both the neck and bridge pickups feature AlNiCo 5 magnets with laser cut fiberboard top piece. Tones are thick and full with the right ammount of chime for that distinct Tron sound. The neck pickup is well balanced and great for a variety of styles ranging from chords, blues, jazz and rock. Combine the neck and bridge to create a glassy tone with crystal clear notes. The bridge tron works well with some medium to heavy overdrive for a nice cut through sound in a band setting.
