Mission Engineering SP-1

Mission Engineering

The first Mission Pedal, the SP-1 is our unique switching expression pedal. There are two 1/4” output jacks, one for the expression pedal and one for the switch. The switch is operated by pushing down on the front with your foot in the same way as a traditional wah pedal. This is used to turn a pedal driven effect such as a wah or vibrato on an off at the pedal itself. The SP-1 is compatible with most MIDI controllers and processors with two or more pedal jacks. The SP1-R option adds a polarity reversal capability. This is a mini toggle switch that reverses the polarity of the potentiometer for compatibility with devices that require a reversed polarity. See the support page for more information.

The SP-1 and SP1-R can be fitted with an optional LED to indicate latched and unlatched state. This can be used as an effect on/off indicator. The SP-1 is a passive device; no battery or external power is required unless the LED option is added. The LED is powered by an internal 9v battery (included), accessible via a base mounted battery door.

ABOUT THE SP1-LF

The SP1-LF was developed by Mission Engineering and FAMC Music, to provide the best possible expression pedal for the Liquid-Foot MIDI Controllers. Featuring an expression pedal and switch out similar to the SP-1, each pedal uses a custom wired momentary switch, and is factory calibrated and tested for optimal performance with your Liquid Foot controller right out of the box. The switch functions as an Instant Access (IA) button and can do anything a Liquid Foot IA button can do including turning effects on and off, and toggling between effects. The SP1-LF is compatible with all Liquid Foot MIDI controllers including the new LF+ Series. Visit the FAMC at www.famcmusic.com for more information on the Liquid-Foot controllers.
