Pigtronix Mothership 2
Turn your electric guitar or bass into a 3-voice analog synthesizer, with the Pigtronix Mothership 2 pedal. Five custom dual-concentric knobs offer impressive control over synth parameters, including individual level knobs for the triangle wave, square wave, and sine wave oscillators. Combined with your clean guitar tone, you've got a massive synth voice that can cover three octaves, and it tracks your guitar's pitch and amplitude with precision. Complete with oscillator sync for ripping lead sounds and a glide function for smooth pitch sweep effects, the Pigtronix Mothership 2 synth pedal will open up a whole new world of creative potential for your guitar or bass.
The Pigtronix Mothership 2 is full of sonic tricks. Want to generate some serious low end? Bring in the Sub Octave. Locked to the input signal, the Mothership's Sub Octave fills out the bottom end with a fat sine wave oscillator, adding serious girth to your sound. There's even a Sub Out jack, so you can run the Sub Octave into a separate bass amp.
Use the Mothership 2's 3-way tuning switch to generate fat stacks of synth tone. Beyond Unison and Octave Up settings, you've got access to musical intervals including Major 3rd, 4th, and 5th. For classic ripping synth sounds, engage the Sync function to lock the triangle and square oscillators together — then modulate them via the control input for even more sonic excitement.
Connect an expression pedal or CV source to the Mothership 2's expression input for maximum sonic control. Use it to modulate the main oscillator in parallel with the onboard knobs and Glide settings for classic sync sweep effects.
